WHO WE ARE
The MassHire Central Region Workforce Board (MCRWB) is a public/private partnership that serves diverse employers and job seekers by developing, coordinating, and providing job readiness and career development tools, programs, activities, and opportunities. With our partners, we identify and leverage community resources to promote economic robustness throughout Central Massachusetts.
The MCRWB serves 38 cities and towns in Central Massachusetts: Worcester, Auburn, Oxford, Webster, West Boylston, Boylston, Shrewsbury Grafton, Millbury, Sutton, Douglas, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Upton, Northborough, Westborough, Milford, Hopedale, Mendon, Millville, Blackstone, Southbridge, Charlton, Sturbridge, Leicester, Spencer, Paxton, Holden, Rutland, Dudley, Oakham, New Braintree, Hardwick, North Brookfield, East Brookfield, Brookfield, West Brookfield, and Warren.
WHAT WE DO
The MCRWB oversees the region’s two Career Centers in Worcester and Southbridge. Together, we draw upon the expertise and networks of civic and business leadership to apply public funds that expand opportunities for and build career skills among regional job seekers and incumbent workers.
