The MassHire Central Region Workforce and our partners at the Worcester Jobs Fund have limited funding to help support training for CDL. Classes are offered in CDL Class B in Worcester and CDL Class A training in West Boylston. Please read the CDL training requirements below, and if you qualify and wish to be considered for an upcoming CDL class, complete the interest form.
CDL training requirements:
- Live in Worcester County
- Be 18 or older for CDL Class B; 21 or older for CDL Class A
- Have a current valid MA driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Be authorized to work legally in the US
- Have the ability to pass a MA Dept. of Transportation (MA DOT) drug test – note: there no exceptions for medical or recreational marijuana use
- Be unemployed, under-employed (annual household income under $56,100)
