This free, four-week Asbestos Abatement and Environmental Remediation training is physically and mentally rigorous; it will prepare and qualify you for jobs in these high demand fields. Because space is limited, we will offer admission to applicants who are qualified, committed, and (based on objective and subjective criteria during intake and screening) most likely to complete the training. While preference is given to City of Worcester residents, all Commonwealth residents are invited to apply.

At the bottom of this application ALL applicants must submit eligibility documents (allowed file types = .doc, .docx, .pdf .jpg, .png). Eligibility documents can include a copy of your U.S. Passport, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, or Green Card.

If applicable, City of Worcester residents must submit documents verifying residency:

  • Copy of a signed rental, lease, or mortgage agreement
  • Copy of paystub within last 60 days
  • Copy of current utility bill dated for service in your name at your stated address within the previous 30 days (gas, electric, cable, telephone–landline only, no cellular). Include page listing your name and address.
  • Signed letter from a homeless shelter
