The City of Worcester’s Environmental Workforce Development and Job Training (EWDJT) program is a free, three-week training course that prepares trainees for stable, full-time employment in this high-demand field. Graduates earn four nationally recognized certifications:
- ECSI First Aid, CPR/AED
- OSHA-10 hour Construction Safety
- 40-hour Asbestos Worker/Supervisor
- OSHA-40 hour HAZWOPER
Applicants who are admitted, commit to, and attend all three weeks consecutively earn a $150 training support services remittance upon completion. Graduates get free job placement help and exclusive access to jobs offered by employer partners.
