Become a Green Building Maintenance Worker! Building Maintenance Workers play an important role in ensuring buildings are running as efficiently as possible by performing general and preventative maintenance work on buildings to keep all systems in good repair.
To be eligible, applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Reside in an Environmental Justice (EJ) neighborhoods (see Environmental Justice Populations in Massachusetts)
- Be considered Low-Income
- Be a member of a federally recognized or state-acknowledged tribes within the Commonwealth
- Be a current/former Fossil fuel worker
- Reside in a Gateway City (if you live in the City of Worcester, you’re eligible!)
Other Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Unemployed or underemployed
- Submit your application and required documents
- Attend an info session and complete a short pre-admission interview
